Frequently asked questions
Who is the parent company?
WeighPay Group, which launched the first cloud platform in the global scrap metal industry in 2010.
What is the largest deployment to date?
A 40-location enterprise recycler processing over 1 million tickets per year on the platform.
Is General Motors really a customer?
Yes — General Motors is among the customer logos using WeighPay products.
How does OnlineScrap integrate with SAP / NetSuite / Oracle?
Via the open REST API, OAuth 2.0, and webhooks. NetSuite is also supported through a native connector.
What does ISO 9001:2015 QMS give an enterprise operator?
Built-in CAPA, internal audits, risk register, calibration logs, and management review — ready for registrar audits without bolt-on tools.
What is the SLA?
99.9% uptime SLA with regional failover.
How long does it take to configure the platform to how we already work?
You start from 21 industry-standard SOP templates covering weighing, inspection and grading, pricing and contracts, dispatch and hauler compliance, settlements and AP matching, receiving and bin management, trading, vessel and container handling, equipment and safety, security and audit, and more. Adopt all 21 in one click, pick the ones you need, or upload your own SOPs and describe the rest in your own words.
What does the AI actually do with our SOPs?
It extracts the business rules from the documents you upload, generates process flowcharts, and proposes bindings to real system fields and to your Custom Record Types — inspections, certifications, permits, and any other structure you define. You review and accept or reject each suggested binding, and GL mapping ties records back to your chart of accounts.
How are the rules enforced once they are configured?
Automatically, on every create, update, and approval. Each rule can block the action, warn the operator, or log it silently, and every trigger is recorded for compliance and dispute resolution. Pricing, workflows, notifications, and approval chains all update to match the SOPs, so the system runs the way you already run the business.
